Meet The Team
We decided to start the daycare after we had multiple small children of our own and we both needed to work. After we started, we realized the strong need for a safe environment for families to bring their children. At that point, we were doing it more for the safe, family environment versus the payment and that is pretty much how it has stayed. We have many grandchildren that have attended here, and I have had multiple children enroll because their parents attended our facility. I feel that that says a lot about us. In our free time, we enjoy spending all the time doing things with our grandkids and spending time at the beach.
I have been employed with Showers Daycare and Preschool for 16 years. When I am not on the clock, you'll often find me hanging out with the kids anyway. When I am not here, I enjoy watching my four children participating in their sports. I also enjoy volunteering, hiking, fishing, or hanging out at the beach. My favorite thing about the kiddos I work with is watching them gain confidence with academics, coloring, and developing friendships.
I have been employed at Showers Daycare and Preschool for 2 years. I enjoy spending time with the kids here and love their hugs, smiles and laughter and all the things they are always so excited to share with me when they come in each morning. In my spare time I like to read, watch tv, go for walks and spend time with my two daughters and my husband.
I have been employed at Showers Daycare and Preschool for a little over 1 year. I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education with 16+ years of experience teaching children of all ages. I love being around children and watching them learn and grow. I love their different personalities and imaginations. I also have a husband and 2 children of my own. We love spending time together going to the movies, on hikes and visiting our family in the south. Teaching is my greatest attribute.
